Flannel Friday Roundup for 11.11.11

Flannel Friday Roundup for 11.11.11

When I was in Prague last week, almost everyone on BBC was wearing poppies on their lapel. I discovered it was a fundraiser for the Royal British Legion… and since it’s Veteran’s Day, I thought I’d bring the Poppy to the Party… for one night only, a poppified Flannel Friday logo. ♥

Let the round-up begin:

Allison from Miss Allison is Blogging has a cute way to work on colors during November with White Feather, White Feather.

Andrea from rovingfiddlehead kidlit came up with a clever way to demonstrate the rain coming out the waterspout in a prop story version of The Itsy Bitsy Spider.

Anne from So Tomorrow is getting ready for winter and letting the good times roll with Snowball Friends.

Also working on colors: Carissa from happy stuff presents the power of the cape in Superhero Colors.

Cate from Storytiming adapted “Buzz, Said the Bee” which is a reader. I think readers make excellent flannel boards.

Erin from Falling Flannelboards (cute name) is presenting Patternpillars.

The buzz over at Katie’s Storytime Katie is that she sewed her Six Little Bumblebees.

Katie from Recipe for Reading presents a clever take on Three Little Kittens!!

Mary from Miss Mary Liberry is Making a Pig. This was an Inspired-by Flannel Friday post.

Meghan at Busy Crafting Mommy did a Circus program and has a flannel that goes with it, the Circus is in Town. Make sure you see the lion act, he goes through a “flaming hoop”.

Miss Mel from Mel’s Desk has an interesting idea using felted Building Blocks. {Creative play and storytime in one posting!}

Mollie from What Happens in Storytime is blowing candles out on Five Birthday Candles. This was an Inspired-by Flannel Friday post.

Moxie at Storytime with Moxie presents a new take on Humpty Dumpty.

Natasha from Natasha the Artsy Librarian was indeed artsy with her prop story Rhyming Dust Bunnies, and are they cute!

Katie Sarah at Story Time Secrets has turkeys on the brain with Five Little Turkeys. (Sorry about that Katie.)

Sarah from Read it Again asks “Have you Ever seen a Turkey?” with polka dots??

Tracey from 1234 More Storytimes shows us One Frog Jumps.

My name is Sharon and this is my blog. Baa-Choo by Sarah Weeks is posted on this blog.

Do you have a blog? Flannel Friday is a great career development tool.

Did I miss you? I hope not. If it’s still 11.11.11 where you are, leave me a comment and I’ll make sure you get added to the list.
